Having worked in the F&B industry for more than seventeen years – twelve of which are in restaurant management – Karim has since acquired solid and relevant experience managing multi-skilled teams, working within tight budgets, building customer relations, and promoting an image of quality and service.
Kicking off his career at an entry-level position helped Karim understand the industry and enhanced his communication skills and understanding of the hierarchy mechanisms by adding a significant amount to his knowledge of how every department operates and is managed. His Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management also added a sense of sales and marketing to his existing skills and experience, which allowed him to fulfill his determination to ensure a restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while keeping up with trends and maintaining the passion that drives the business forward.
Karim’s career journey was also marked by various opening experiences. He became an integral element of the business at its creation, gaining the required technical know-how in architecture, equipment, installations, and operation flow.
Today, Karim seeks to start his own business alongside his siblings, who are also pioneers in the same industry. To him, the three of them combined would be a force to be reckoned with, and to complete a shared concept would be a guaranteed success and a dream come true.
